The Food Clans: Finalist at the World Food Forum!

The Food Clans ganador del Foro Mundial de la Alimentación

I’m very excited to share this news with you! The Food Clans has been one of the five finalists in the AgX Fair 2024 competition of the World Food Forum. And the best part is that this week, I’ll be presenting it at the United Nations, at the FAO headquarters in Rome!

What Does This Mean?

Out of 90 educational projects from around the world, The Food Clans stood out for its fun and practical approach in teaching children about healthy eating through play. This recognition gives me a huge boost to keep moving forward with more enthusiasm than ever.

Thank You for Your Support!

If someone had told me this a year ago, I wouldn’t have believed it! Since then, after attending several game fairs, the prototype has improved vastly thanks to feedback from so many people and board game experts.

I also want to thank Incubazul, the cooking schools of Cádiz, and numerous people from University of Cádiz, including the team of the Entrepreneurship Unit, the coordination of the Master’s in Food Culture, and specialists in food technology, algae, public health, and nutrition.

What’s Next

During World Food Week, from October 14 to 18, 2024, I’ll be at FAO headquarters (the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) in Rome. I’ll present The Food Clans on October 15 at 4:30 PM. If you can’t be there, you can follow the events virtually by registering here.

If you’d like to learn more about the project, you can watch our entry for the AgX Fair competition on YouTube here (under 3 minutes).
